Thematic Training and workshop on “Integration of geospatial information for sustainable urban development”

UNESCAP, GISTDA under operation of ASEAN Research and Training Center for Space Technology and Applications (ARTSA) and Prince of Songkla University (PSU) organised Thematic Training and workshop on “Integration of geospatial information for sustainable urban development”, which was held between 2nd and 4th December 2020 at Training room, Khunying Long Athakravisunthorn Learning Resources Center, Prince of Songkla University, Hatyai, Songkhla in Thailand and via VDO Conference. The event aimed to disseminate the geospatial information deriving from the study and analysis on geospatial information platform for urban development: Case Study Urban Green Space (UGS) and Recreation area of Songkhla Municipality.

The workshop training was operated in Hybrid pattern, integrating onsite and online participation. There were 50 participants, in public sector, private sector, institutions and intergovernmental organisations in ASEAN region and international organisations, which came from Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Lao PDR, and Thailand.
