Workshop on Satellite Images Derived from ALOS-2 for Applications

Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (Public Organization) or GISTDA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency referred to as JAXA organized Workshop on Satellite Images Derived from ALOS-2 for its Applications on Agricultural and Disaster Management which was held on February 19, 2020 at GISTDA Bang Khen Branch, Phaholyothin Road, Chatuchuck, Bangkok.

Objectives

  1. To gain knowledge of ALOS-2 applications for agriculture, disaster and land use land cover change.
  2. To contribute discussion and share experiences both the technology and applications with JAXA experts.
  3. To initiate projects from the participants’ contribution in order to have joint research collaboration between Japan and Thailand as well as among Thai institutions and public sectors.
  4. To extend academic network at this workshop will enhance space technology and geo-informatics applications within the region in order to reach the goal of sustainable development with science, technology and innovation based.
