GISTDA and ARTSA with ITC Organise training course “Crop Mapping using AI”
GISTDA and ARTSA with Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC), University of Twente, The Netherlands Organise training course “Crop Mapping using AI” During 24 – 28 June 2024 at GISTDA (The Government Complex, Bangkok) In hybrid format to develop manpower and enhance the capacity to analyse satellite data with AI technology. The purpose of this training is to deliver agricultural training to GISTDA personnel, government agencies, and the education sector, both nationally and within the ASEAN region. This is an ongoing joint activity under the MOU between GISTDA and ITC.
The training had 22 attendees interested in on-site training and an additional 48 participants from government agencies and educational institutions in Thailand who joined online. Cambodia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Myanmar are the ASEAN countries participating in this event. This is considered promoting human resource development and build international academic cooperation.
